Description: Acloché has immediate openings for an Entry Level Buyer/Purchasing Assistant in Sunbury. Company is a Service-driven supplier to the automotive industry, providing a wide range of components used in vehicle manufacturing.
The position supports the sourcing, scheduling, and delivery of materials for both domestic and imported parts. This role works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery are consistently met.
Ideal for candidates starting a career in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the customer requirements in a timely manner for both domestic and imported parts.
Control the delivery schedule for purchasing materials, tooling, and other accessory equipment.
Monitor all purchased products about discrepancies in quality and past due deliveries.
Correspond with suppliers to resolve any concerns in a timely manner.
Handle all daily purchasing functions when purchasing supervisor is absent.
Schedule truckload pick-ups for domestic suppliers.
What You Need to Succeed:
College degree preferred.
Six months to one year of previous purchasing experience preferred.
Familiar with blueprints or schematic drawings.
Hands on purchasing experience.
Supplier management or management procurement experience.
ERP/MRP system experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Comfortable with direct customer contact, conflict resolution, multitasking, and negotiation.
Ability to work autonomously and with a team.
Advanced critical thinking skills with the ability to thrive while remaining calm under pressure.
Pay rate: $22.50
