Position Overview CEC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Neurologist to provide specialized care to patients at our Bethpage location. This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Conduct patient assessments including medical history, examinations, and necessary procedures
• Ensure patients and caregivers receive clear follow-up instructions and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing staff and direct care providers
• Coordinate referrals within CEC for specialty services and consultations
• Participate in care coordination with internal clinicians to ensure continuity of care
• Support efficient patient flow and clinic operations
• Be available for occasional after-hours consultations or emergencies, as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO with current licensure in New York State
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Active DEA license
• Experience or demonstrated ability to work with persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Valid malpractice coverage (provided by CEC for W-2 employees)

Preferred:

• Experience in developmental, behavioral, or neurodevelopmental Neurology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
