  • Partners with the purchasing department to order tools and hardware from the primary preferred vendor, utilizing a secondary primary vendor to resolve backorders and proactively notifying impacted personnel of fulfillment delays.
  • Manages relationships with key external vendors, maximizing manufacturer warranty, repair, and buy-back programs, and communicating promotional specials to purchasing and the logistics manager for vetting.
  • Oversees logistics operations, coordinates combined deliveries and pickups with local construction operations departments, and provides hands-on shipping and receiving support when operating without dedicated crib staff.

  • Partners with estimating, project management, and field operations to forecast tool and equipment requirements for upcoming project lifecycles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):

  • Demonstrated background in managing inventory, shipping/receiving, warehouse processes, and integrated supply chain management.
  • Deep technical understanding of manual, pneumatic, and electrical construction tools, safety equipment, and basic tool repair.
  • High-level proficiency in inventory databases, digital tool tracking, ERP platforms, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and automated tool dispensing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) and MS Office products (Word, Excel) to maintain organized data logs, tracking calendars, and inventory files.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing capital and operational budgets, executing vendor contracts, and tracking cost savings.
  • Expert ability to use data patterns to identify abnormal consumption, forecast inventory reorder points, and perform technical troubleshooting (e.g., PLC for automated dispensing).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including phone/email etiquette, and the ability to provide clear, understandable direction to others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage complex schedules and maintain professional courtesy in a fast-paced, hectic work environment.
