Activities staff at Day Program

We are now hiring Part time Direct Support Professionals for our Day Habilitation program in Las Vegas.

DSP staff provide functional skills and life-skills training to adults with disabilities in an adult day program.

Some duties include -

• Provide individual and/or group skills training sessions and activities to develop or enhance clients’ level of independent function and quality of life.
• Create and maintain written records and forms.
• Communicate client information to ASI staff, physicians, social workers, community workers and family members, as authorized and appropriate.
• Transport and/or accompany clients to community activities and programs, as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Regulations require a High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance, and a safe driving record.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English.
• The ability to perform in a professional manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills, dependable, flexible, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
