Original job description
You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.
THE WORK:
- You’ll review the Contractor’s Baseline Construction Schedule for conformance with the Plans and Specifications, including WBS breakdown, sequencing, critical path and logic ties, activities, resource loading, constructability, float sequestering or suppression, and other schedule deficiencies; provide written evaluation and comments; and coordinate corrections with the Contractor Scheduler.
- You’ll review the Contractor’s Monthly Schedule updates against the Plans and Specifications, identify logic or critical-path changes, inaccurate progress reporting, schedule variations and their causes, and provide written responses and approval recommendations.
- You’ll review construction progress and inspection reports, maintain an accurate “as built” schedule, monitor weekly 3 Week Look Ahead Schedules, promptly report schedule slippage and other variances, and use this information to evaluate Monthly Schedule updates and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) submittals.
- You’ll maintain an Owner shadow Schedule using actual construction activity dates from daily inspection and quality control reports, site visits, and other sources to identify potential delays or schedule adjustments and support evaluation of the Contractor’s Monthly Schedule updates.
- You’ll review Contractor-submitted Time Impact Analysis (TIA), provide written evaluations and recommendations for time extensions as appropriate, identify schedule variances and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management team.
- You’ll provide LAWA “What if” schedule impacts for contemplated additional work or potential re-sequencing, forecast project status against the established baseline schedule, assess milestone impacts, and report status, fiscal impacts, and risks to Management to help mitigate overruns and schedule slippage.
- You’ll provide scheduling support across multiple projects and Project Managers, which may include Planning, Design, and Construction projects within a Master Program Schedule Plan; master schedule interfaces involving electrical airfield systems, mechanical systems, airfield operations, and other aviation disciplines; and development and analysis of man-hour, equipment, cost-loaded, and time-phased schedules.
- You’ll prepare detailed plans, time-scaled charts, diagrams, progress reporting documents, briefing materials, simplified logic schedules, and other reporting tools; review schedules with third-party schedulers; support issue management, meeting facilitation, document control, and monthly status reporting; and collaborate with stakeholders on planning and design schedules.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. May be required to work past regular work shift or various shifts as needed.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related technical field required
- You’ll need 10 years or more of scheduling experience, including 5+ years directly supporting an active construction project
- You’ll need experience scheduling the design and construction of large-scale, complex projects, including developing and managing progress reporting methodology for multi-million-dollar construction projects in the $300M–$1B range
- You’ll need mastery of Oracle Primavera P6 Version 8.3 or higher
- You’ll need experience with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification
- Aviation experience
- Knowledge of PMWEB and other Project Management Systems
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
