Original job description
You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.
THE WORK:
- You'll partner with Sub-Industry and Regional leaders to identify and pursue new client and project opportunities, building and maintaining a pipeline informed by client meetings, industry intelligence, and Southern California public-sector market research.
- You'll maintain and update the CRM system in Deltek to keep pipeline data current, and research board reports and other relevant documentation to prepare leaders and senior PMs for client meetings and strategy sessions.
- You'll represent the company at industry events and conferences such as CMAA, CASH, CCFC, SSDA, ACEC, and others; attend industry meetings, lunches, dinners, and conferences; send summaries after each; and coordinate networking events and industry meetings across Sub-Industry Leads and Regional Managers.
- You'll meet with prospective clients, schedule introductions with Accenture subject matter experts, set up introductory meetings with clients and teaming partners, and work with the Sub-Industry Leader to invite key clients to Accenture-sponsored events.
- You'll develop pursuit strategies with the Sub-Industry Leader and prepare Pursuit Capture Plans outlining key dates, contacts, win themes, and differentiators, while creating client presentations and leave-behind materials.
- You'll collaborate with the Marketing team on pursuits, conferences, exhibitions, and promotional materials, and coordinate lobbyist and outside consultant efforts with Regional Managers.
- You'll coordinate and attend kickoff and ongoing pursuit meetings with teaming partners once a pursuit is approved, help develop staffing org charts early in the pursuit phase, participate in green team discussions, and track pursuit action items and deadlines.
- You'll send out MOUs and sub agreements and support interview preparation and rehearsal for major pursuits.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- A bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
- 5 years of program management or construction management industry experience
- 5 years of experience supporting business development, capture management, marketing, and strategic pursuits
- An established network of public agency clients, industry partners, and teaming relationships within the AEC/PMCM industry
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- A strong understanding of public-sector procurement and pursuit processes and experience with Deltek CRM
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent pursuits in a deadline-driven environment while working independently and collaborating with executive leadership and technical teams
- A professional, proactive, and service-oriented mindset, with strong interpersonal and relationship-management capabilities
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
