Field Dispatcher

As a Field Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating our drivers and customers along our routes serving the local public transit routes in Bergen and Passaic County.

The home base for this position is in our new Hackensack, NJ location.

You will partner closely with the dispatch and operations teams, to support the overall safety and efficiency of service while providing exceptional customer service.

Shift:

• Monday-Saturday
• 5:00am-1:00pm

Pay rate of $20.00-$25.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with experience level.

Field Dispatcher Core Role:

• Coordinate drivers for daily operations
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field
• Be present and visible in the loading areas and provide assistance as required
• Communicate information clearly and concisely via direct connect radio or phone
• Accurately update logs and complete required documentation
• Respond to incidents and assist with investigations
• Keep the dispatch and operations teams updated on operations

Field Dispatcher Requirements:

• Knowledge of Bergen and Passaic County transportation routes a plus
• CDL is a plus, but not required
