The Park Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of Park. This position plays a key role in ensuring park visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning, litter removal, and grounds maintenance duties throughout the park.
Pay: $24.15 The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

- Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout park grounds.
- Empty and maintain trash and recycling receptacles.
- Clean sidewalks, walkways, plazas, seating areas, and other public spaces.
- Sweep, power blow, and pressure wash designated areas as needed.
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms and replenish restroom supplies.
- Remove graffiti and report vandalism or damage.
- Maintain cleanliness of park furniture, fixtures, drinking fountains, and other amenities.
- Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup activities.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards and report issues to management.
- Follow established safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Support special cleaning projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as leaf blowers, pressure washers, and other maintenance tools.
Work Environment
- Outdoor park setting in a high-traffic public environment.
- May require early morning, evening, weekend, holiday, or special event shifts.
- Exposure to weather, dust, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
- Experience working in parks, public venues, or large outdoor facilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
