Original job description

ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a leading provider of facility solutions with revenues of approximately $8.7 billion and over 130,000 employees in 300+ offices deployed throughout the United States and various international locations. ABM’s comprehensive capabilities include electrical & lighting, energy solutions, facilities engineering, HVAC & mechanical, janitorial, landscape & turf, mission critical solutions and parking, provided through stand-alone or integrated solutions. Reporting directly to the SVP & CISO, the Director, AI Security Enablement will build and lead ABM's enterprise AI security strategy to include imbedding security into artificial intelligence, machine learning, and agentic AI across the business, spanning ABM’s AI security tooling, internal AI/ML development, and third-party AI products and vendors. This leader designs and champions the guardrails, governance, and technical controls that allow ABM to adopt AI and agentic AI capabilities quickly and confidently, while protecting the business, its customers, and its employees from the emerging risks these technologies introduce. The role carries direct people-leadership responsibility, building and developing a team of approximately three AI/ML security specialists, and also requires strong matrix-management skills to coordinate and drive security outcomes through engineers, developers, data scientists, and vendor teams who do not report directly to this role. Highly organized program and stakeholder management is essential: this leader will run multiple concurrent security-enablement initiatives across internal development teams and third-party AI vendors, track them to completion, and communicate progress clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and executive leadership. The Director, AI Security Enablement must have hands-on depth in both traditional cybersecurity and modern AI security - including large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and agentic AI architectures where autonomous or semi-autonomous agents take actions, call tools, and access systems and data on behalf of users or other systems. This role will establish cross-functional partnerships across Security, Engineering, Data Science & AI/ML teams, Legal, Risk, Privacy, and Operations to enable innovation while protecting the organization from emerging AI risks.

Benefits: ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. You will also be eligible to participate in a company incentive or bonus program.
