CNC Mill and Lathe Operator

1st shift in a Production Shop Environment

Primary Duties:

Setup and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, Plus manual equipment.

Basic understanding of working properties and machining processes for a wide variety of materials such as aluminum, stainless steels, cast iron, and carbon steel.

Work from factory work orders, routings, drawings, written or verbal instructions.

Perform program edits to Fanuc Controllers/ G & M Code.

Inspect work produced, including 1^st^ piece inspection, using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, or other measuring instruments.

Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment as prescribed by the supervisor and report operating difficulties of equipment.

Make proper labor and time reports.

Keep machine clean and well lubricated and work area orderly.

Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, environmental and ergonomics.

Must be Self Motivated and must have a Very Strong Work Ethic
