Electronic Assemblers

The primary role of the Electronic Assembler is to install, repair, and attach eLectronic components to devices. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing soldering and de-soldering of various-sized components on printed circuit boards
• Completing through-hole and surface-mount soldering
• Conducting mechanical and electronic assembly in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and the handling of materials, including hazardous materials
• Understanding and following work orders while asking the department lead for assistance when necessary
• Performing routine and non-routine tasks both independently and with direction
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
