2nd Shift Service Manager

ATC, Inc. is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Service Manager to help lead our evening service operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in truck, trailer, diesel, automotive, RV, or equipment repair who is ready to manage workflow, support technicians, and keep the shop running efficiently.

The right candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, dependable, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced repair environment.

What Youll Do

Oversee daily 2nd shift service operations and shop workflow

Assign work to technicians based on skill level, priority, and customer needs

Monitor repair progress and help ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time

Communicate with technicians, service advisors, parts staff, and customers as needed

Review repair orders, technician notes, estimates, and completed work

Help diagnose issues, answer technical questions, and support technicians when needed

Maintain quality control and ensure repairs meet company standards

Promote a safe, organized, and productive shop environment

Assist with training, coaching, and developing technicians

Help manage productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Handle issues professionally and work with the team to find solutions

What Were Looking For

Previous service management, shop foreman, lead technician, or supervisory experience preferred

Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel trucks, trailers, automotive, RV, or related equipment

Ability to lead, motivate, and support technicians

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple repair jobs and priorities at once

Good computer skills and ability to work with repair orders or shop management systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Valid drivers license required

Dependable attendance and a professional attitude

Full-time employment

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience
