FLSD Certification Director Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough building code analysis and fire prevention inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with local authorities on fire apparatus operation requirements and ensure compliance with all fire safety regulations.
• Manage documentation related to alarm system sales, system certifications, and inspection reports to accurate records of all activities.

Qualifications:

• FLSD F-89 Certification Required.
• Proven experience in supervising fire safety program or certifications with in a municipal or government setting.
• Extensive knowledge of building code compliance, life safety building codes, NFPA standards, and IFC regulations.
• Strong background in system design for fire alarm, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression technologies.
• Familiarity with security protocols emergency response procedures, Hazmat handling, and public safety education strategies.
• Hands-on experience with inspection processes related to fire safety upgrades or new installations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, documentation management, and communication purposes.
