Plate Saw Operator

Job Duties

Order Fulfillment

o Identifying correct inventory to cut the jobs

o Calculating correct quantity of plate needed to complete the job

o Running all facets of cutting the order on the saws

o Finalizing the ticket in the ERP system

o Restocking drops after each job.

o Securely packaging all saw jobs after cutting for safe shipment to customers

o Organizing saw jobs by driver route for efficient loading of trucks (by drivers)

Inventory Optimization

o Proactively working to optimize inventory locations to keep the efficient flow of material in our plant

Inventory Counts

o Participation in accurately measuring and counting aluminum plate inventory as determined by

management to fulfill financial obligations

• Occasionally load or unload incoming/outgoing materials
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse
• Keep floors trash/garbage free at all times
• Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor

Minimum Education Required

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have strong math skills and an ability to read tape measures and micrometers.

Minimum Experience Required

Previous experience in the metals industry welding, saw operating or CNC machining.
