Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Operate portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform and process X-rays, ensuring timely submission and transmission for radiological interpretation.
• Efficiently transport X-ray equipment into various facilities to conduct physician-ordered examinations, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality, clinically diagnostic, and technically proficient images.
• Conduct EKGs as necessary, facilitating their transmission to a Cardiologist for assessment when required.
• Digitally scan and archive exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch and management to coordinate operations effectively.
• Interact professionally and maintain clear communication with colleagues, supervisory personnel, and clients to ensure a collaborative environment.
• Responsible for the upkeep and operational readiness of both the vehicle and X-ray equipment.

**Qualifications:**

• Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of Richmond.
• Hold and maintain necessary State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, as well as meet health and operational standards.

Possess a valid driver's license specific to the state of employment, with a clean driving record.

**Certification Requirements:**

• ARRT certification is mandatory.
• Compliance with State licensing requirements is essential.
• Note: Limited licenses are not acceptable in this role.
