Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Operate and manage the acquisition of X-ray images utilizing portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) systems, ensuring timely submission to radiologists for diagnostic interpretation.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment within healthcare facilities to conduct examinations as directed by physicians, with the primary goal of producing clinically diagnostic and technically sound images.
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) when necessary, ensuring accurate transmission to cardiologists for analysis.
• Regularly digitize and archive examination-related documentation and billing records in compliance with established protocols on a daily basis.
• Maintain consistent communication with dispatch personnel and management to coordinate schedules and address operational needs.
• Demonstrate professional interaction with colleagues, supervisory staff, and patients to uphold high standards of service.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness of both the vehicle and X-ray equipment to guarantee safety and effectiveness.
• Uphold all state licensing and ARRT certification requirements, along with health and operational standards to maintain compliance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license within the state of operation, ensuring it remains in good standing at all times.

**Certification Requirements:**

• ARRT Certification

**State License Requirements:**

• North Carolina License
• Compact Licensure Allowed

**Additional License Requirements:**

• Limited licenses are not accepted.
