Sales Associate

Position Summary:

Berks Menswear is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to support daily sales operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working directly with customers, takes pride in product knowledge and presentation, and contributes to a positive, team-oriented retail environment.

Sales Associates play a key role in representing the Berks Menswear brand by providing attentive service, assisting customers with product selection and fittings, and maintaining store standards. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, service-oriented experience
• Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and fittings
• Support sales transactions using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and store offerings
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and inventory organization
• Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store operations
• Communicate customer needs or concerns to store leadership as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting as needed
