Responsibilities
•
The Senior Cloud Architect will design a complete and complex framework, system or product
•
Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
•
Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes
•
Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
•
Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems
•
Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
•
Ability to disseminate leadership directions/decisions and coordinate across cross-functional teams

- Security Command Center (Event threat detection)
- Workload security
- Network (Firewalls, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, etc.)
- Data (DLP, Cloud KMS design patterns)
- IAM
- Monitoring and Operations (integration with Splunk)
- Cloud Security Posture management and workload protection – Hashicorp Sentinel/Prisma/GCP SCC/Organisational constraints
- Implementing controls and guardrails with the above
- Threat modelling processes and frameworks and controls implementation based on MITRE ATT&CK
- Familiarity with Cloud security controls frameworks –
CSA CCM, CIS
- Ability to document and present to peer-review forums/design authority
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments preferred
